The recently completed ADP Facility was erected at an incredible pace, just 35 days and 10 days ahead of schedule. If not a record it is certainly close. In all 950 pieces were erected, an amazing average of over 27 pieces a day. The repetitive sections enabled an efficient production process as all pieces were produced in just 50 days. The 185,000 sf facility was constructed with approximately 400 Double-Tee Roof Units, 250 Insulated Wall Panels, 90 Beams, 100 Columns and approximately 100 other miscellaneous members. All the inherent advantages of a total precast building came through in dramatic fashion. Precast concretes strength, versatility and flexibility not only reduced construction time but made a design possible to resist tornadic wind forces. This project is an excellent example of how a project can benefit from a the use of precast concrete products.
